A deposit of $500 per person is required with registration. Registrations should be made as soon as possible as space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. ALL RESERVATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY JULY 1, 2010. Final balance due and payable ninety (90) days prior to tour departure, or by July 1, 2010. All cancellations must be in writing and mailed to Leisure West Tours & Cruises, 1266 Strong Street, Brighton, Colorado 80601. The cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

Up to 90 days prior to departure - deposit is refundable
Between 89 – 76 days prior to departure, the full deposit is non-refundable.
Between 75 – 46 days prior to departure, 25% of the total tour price is forfeited.
Between 45 – 36 days prior to departure, 50% of the total tour price is forfeited.
Between 35 – 21 days prior to departure, 75% of the total tour price is forfeited.
Within 20 days of departure – NO REFUND.

Your Daily Itinerary

Day 1 – DENVER TO CHICAGO-ITALY:
Depart Denver for Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport where the group will board the transatlantic flight to Italy (via Rome to Florence) with full meal and beverage service, as well as complimentary stereo headsets, while aloft.
Day 2 – FLORENCE-MONTECATINI: Benvenuti in Italia!
Arrival at the Florence Airport where you will be met by your Tour Escort who will assist with the transfer. Scenic morning drive to Montecatini for check-in for three nights at the Hotel Columbia (or similar). The remainder of the day is at your leisure. This evening, a “Welcome Dinner” and orientation meeting at your hotel.
Day 3 FLORENCE:
Breakfast at hotel. Full-day guided sightseeing tour of Florence including a walking tour of the historic city center and a visit to the famous Academia Museum, site of Michelangelo’s monumental statue – The David. Dinner and overnight at hotel. (BB, D)
Day 4 VENICE:
Breakfast at hotel. Full-day excursion to Venice for a walking tour of Piazza San Marco, visiting the Doge's Palace and crossing the Bridge of Sighs which connects to the Piombi Prisons. After the tour, you will enjoy a full meal at a local restaurant. The remainder of the afternoon is free for shopping and browsing. A light dinner during the return trip to Montecatini. Overnight. Day 5 SIENA-SAN GIMIGNANO:
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Siena. You will drive southwest over the rolling hills of Chianti through the heart of Italian wine country. Once in Siena, your tour escort will lead you to Piazza del Campo, through the narrow streets, past medieval otowers and walls. One of the notable highlights of Siena is San Domenico, which holds the relics of St. Catherine. Next visit San Gimignano, often described as “The most famous small town in Italy.” This charming Medieval hilltop town is noted for its many towers and its breathtaking views of the Tuscan landscape. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Montecatini. (BB, D)
Day 6 MONTECATINI-ASSISI-ROME:
Breakfast and hotel check-out. Depart for Rome, with a stop in Assisi to view St. Francis' Cathedral and have some free time to browse the city. Upon arrival in Rome "The Eternal City", you will check in at the first-class Hotel Tiberio (or similar), where you will be for the next three nights. There will be time to rest, relax, shop, and freshen-up. Dinner at hotel. Overnight. (BB, D)
Day 7 ANCIENT & MODERN ROME: ,br> Breakfast at hotel, followed by day-long city sightseeing tour. In the morning, you will enjoy your “Ancient Rome” guided tour, featuring the most famous monuments and sites of Ancient Rome, and in the afternoon, following time for lunch on your own, meet up for a tour of Modern Rome. By the time the day winds to a close, you will have seen the Coliseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, and so much more! Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. (BB, D)
Day 8 VATICAN CITY:
Visit ST. PETER’S BASILICA and the SISTINE CHAPEL. See Michelangelo’s “Creation” and the famous “Last Judgment”. The afternoon is at leisure in Rome. (BB, D)
Day 9 – ROME-POMPEII-NAPLES-SORRENTO:
Following breakfast and hotel check-out, it’s time to say goodbye to Rome! Stop for a guided tour of Pompeii, destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD and, today, some of the best preserved ruins of Roman times. Next on your agenda is a guided panoramic sightseeing tour of the famous port city of Naples. Arriving in Sorrento, check-in at the Hotel Michelangelo (or similar) for dinner and overnight. Day 10 – AMALFI COAST:
After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on an excursion along one of the most scenic roads in the world –The Amalfi Drive! Your first stop will be above Positano, one of Italy’s most famous and elegant resorts. You will then continue your drive through the ancient marine republic of Amalfi. There will be some free time to visit the beautiful Cathedral of St. Andrew, explore the town or browse and shop. Stop for lunch (on your own) and in the afternoon visit Ravello. Return to Sorrento for dinner and overnight. (BB, D)
Day 11 ISLE OF CAPRI-SORRENTO:
Today we’re off to visit the beautiful Isle of Capri! Your excursion begins with a ferry ride across the Bay of Naples to Capri. Guided sightseeing in the town of Capri with its chic shops, hotels, and restaurants lying along winding streets. The main square, Piazza Umberto, has a pretty white church and several open-air cafes where you can sit and watch the world go by. Afternoon return to Sorrento, by ferry, for some free time to shop for that last minute gift or explore on your own. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Sorrento. (BB, D)
Day 12 –NAPLES-NEWARK-DENVER:
After breakfast and hotel check-out, transfer to the Naples Airport to board your return flight to Denver through Newark (via Rome) with full meal and beverage service, as well as complimentary stereo headsets, while aloft.
